The prosecutors of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) have detained two customs officials from the Port of Constanța for 24 hours in a corruption case related to the customs clearance of containers. Among the detainees is Christian Gudu, the brother of former PNL deputy, Michael Gudu.

The accusations involve bribery, with Parfenie Octavian-Lică, the head of the South Constanța Border Customs Office, being accused of receiving bribes in a continuous manner, while his deputy, Gudu Christian, is accused of complicity. Between December 2025 and March 2026, Parfenie allegedly received approximately 15,100 euros to facilitate customs procedures, with Gudu's assistance.

Witnesses confirmed that the bribe was requested in euros, and Parfenie complained about the amounts received. The two will be presented to the Bucharest Tribunal with a proposal for preventive detention, and the investigation continues to identify other involved parties. DNA emphasizes that the criminal action does not affect the presumption of innocence.
