Viorel Cerbu, proposed for the leadership of DNA, heard today at CSM. Opinions are also awaited for the appointments of Marius Voineag and Alex Florența at the General Prosecutor's Office and DIICOT.

The CSM's section for prosecutors will hear Viorel Cerbu on Monday, proposed for the position of chief prosecutor of the DNA. Additionally, an opinion will be given for the appointment of Marius Voineag as deputy of the General Prosecutor's Office and Alex Florența as deputy of DIICOT.

The CSM's opinion is advisory, and the final decision rests with President Nicușor Dan. Regarding the current general prosecutor, Alex Florența, the CSM prosecutors did not reach a consensus, resulting in a tie vote, three in favor and three against. In the same situation, was also the head of the DNA, Marius Voineag, a candidate for a deputy position at the General Prosecutor's Office.

On Tuesday, the interviews for the heads of the major prosecutor's offices will conclude, with Marius Ionel Ștefan and Marinela Mincă on the list of candidates for the positions of deputy of the DNA.
