The interim Minister of Health, Cseke Attila, participated in a meeting with union leaders from the Health sector, organized by the Ministry of Labor, to discuss the project of the new Salary Law in the public sector.

Following the discussions, an agreement was reached regarding the increase of the bonus for on-call duties performed in emergency structures from 20% to 30% and the introduction of a pilot program for the salary of medical staff based on performance criteria. It was also agreed to revise the way bonuses for hazardous conditions are granted, establishing minimum and maximum intervals depending on the specialty.

Discussions will continue on Thursday to clarify some technical aspects related to the bonus ceiling.
