The National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) has issued a warning regarding several critical vulnerabilities affecting Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers, such as Microsoft Edge and Brave. These vulnerabilities, identified as CVE-2025-13223 and CVE-2025-13224, are of the 'type confusion' type and may allow the execution of malicious code or application crashes. DNSC emphasized that there are signs of active exploitation of these vulnerabilities, making the urgent update of browsers essential for user security. Google has confirmed signs of exploitation for CVE-2025-13223, recommending all users to update their applications to the latest available versions.
