DIICOT Suceava has indicted an organized criminal group, which includes a Border Police officer, for smuggling amphetamine from Ukraine and selling it on the Romanian black market. The group's activity took place between 2022 and March 2023, and the agent's role was to coordinate the purchases. Investigators conducted searches, seizing prohibited substances and other evidence. Five people were detained and the officer was remanded in custody. Eight others are under investigation for drug trafficking.
