Doctor Simona Boila, 56 years old, was found carbonized in her home in Molsheim, France, on October 30. Authorities suspect that her son, Andrei, 22 years old, may be involved in the crime, and he is being sought by the police.

The disappearance of the doctor was reported by an employee of her cardiology office, who alerted the authorities after failing to contact her. At the scene, police found a carbonized body, and the fire is believed to have occurred a day earlier. Simona Boila, originally from Cluj-Napoca, moved to France in the late 2000s and was well known in the local community. Her son, Andrei, has a psychiatric history and is suspected of committing the crime. The Romanian community and local authorities are in shock after this tragedy.
