The new lanes will be installed on routes such as Bd. Lascăr Catargiu, Șos. Cotroceni, Bd. Iuliu Maniu, Bd. Regele Mihai I, Calea Crângași and Drumul Taberei, with the aim of improving public transportation. Some projects have the necessary permits, while others are in the process of being approved. Mayor Bujduveanu emphasizes the importance of these measures for faster and more predictable public transport in Bucharest.
