The Confederation of Operators and Authorized Carriers in Romania (COTAR) has signaled an increase in the price of compulsory insurance for heavy vehicles, from 9,000 lei to 11,000 lei annually, with the expiry of the cap on the RCA tariff on July 1, 2025. COTAR warns that this upward trend could continue, affecting costs for carriers.
