A 64-year-old shepherd from Caraș-Severin County was found dead after a conflict with another 38-year-old shepherd, who hit him in the head.

A 64-year-old man, a shepherd at a sheepfold in Caraș-Severin County, was found dead on Monday morning, after having a conflict with another 38-year-old shepherd the previous night. According to the Caraș-Severin County Police Inspectorate, the conflict occurred around 8:00 PM, when the two men struck each other, and the younger one hit the older man in the head.

After the altercation, the suspect left the sheepfold, leaving the victim inside. The owner of the sheepfold discovered the lifeless body and alerted the authorities. The police quickly identified the suspect, who is now in police custody, and the investigations are being coordinated by a prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Caraș-Severin Tribunal to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
