The Vrancea Prefecture urgently convened the Local Committee for Disease Control to coordinate measures to prevent the spread of the disease. These measures include prohibiting the movement of animals, monitoring their health, emergency vaccination, and disinfecting affected areas. Authorities recommend that the population adhere to the measures and avoid consuming meat from suspected animals.
