The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a weather alert, valid from Wednesday at 10:00 AM until Sunday at 8:00 PM. Starting Wednesday, rain will cover all regions of the country, and by Sunday, significant amounts of water will accumulate, between 10-25 l/m², while in the southern regions and in the Southern Carpathians, up to 60-80 l/m². From Thursday evening, sleet and snow will be recorded in northern Moldova and in the mountains.
The wind will intensify, with gusts of 45-50 km/h, and in the mountainous area, 70-90 km/h. The weather will cool significantly, with maximum temperatures in Bucharest of 10-12 degrees on Thursday and 8 degrees on Friday, while the minimums will vary between 4-6 degrees. Over the weekend, the rain will continue, and temperatures will remain around 9 degrees.
