The National Institute of Hydrology has announced a Code Yellow warning of local flash floods in Transylvania, Moldova and the Curved Carpathians, valid from Tuesday until Wednesday morning. Heavy runoff is expected on slopes and flash floods on small rivers, with higher risks in Cluj and Alba counties. The population is advised to avoid flood-prone areas and to protect property in low-lying areas, and local authorities are asked to be respectful.
