The hydrologists have issued a yellow and orange code for showers and flooding in 32 counties, valid from Thursday until midday Friday.

The I.N.H.G.A. has announced a Code Orange for showers and floods, valid from July 17 at 18:00 until July 18 at 12:00, affecting 15 counties, including Harghita and Prahova. Heavy runoff is expected on slopes and flash floods on small rivers, with a risk of severe flooding, especially in Prahova, Suceava and Botoșani counties. Also, a Code Yellow is active in 17 other counties, with rainfall of up to 60 liters per square meter. The authorities advise caution near watercourses.
