On June 4, the ANM issued a code yellow heat alert for the counties of Banat, Oltenia and south-western Muntenia, where temperatures will reach 33-36 degrees, generating high discomfort. At the same time, thunderstorms are expected in the north of the country, with torrential downpours and thunderstorms, and rainfall amounts may reach 40 l/mp. Atmospheric instability will also persist in mountain areas in other regions.
