Meteorologists have issued a Code Red for heavy downpours and thunderstorms in five localities in Hunedoara, with winds up to 80 km/h.

The National Administration of Meteorology warned that until 21.00, Hunedoara County will be affected by heavy downpours that can accumulate up to 50 liters per square meter, thunderstorms with wind gusts of 70-80 km/h and medium and large hail. The towns of Hațeg, Râu de Mori, Sântămăria-Orlea, Densuș and Totești are under a Code Red warning. There are also flood risks in other counties.
