The ANM has issued a Code Orange heatwave for Friday and Saturday, with temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius in various parts of the country, including Bucharest.

The National Meteorological Administration has warned that between July 4-5 there will be a Code Orange heatwave in Banat, Crișana, Maramureș, Oltenia and Transylvania, where maximum temperatures will reach between 37 and 40 degrees. In Bucharest, the heat discomfort will be accentuated and the night will be tropical. Also, a Code Yellow will be active in Moldova and Dobrogea, with temperatures of 33-38 degrees. The warm weather will ease on Saturday, but will return in all regions on Sunday.
