The health authorities, through the National Health Insurance House (CNAS), are considering the introduction of severe penalties for doctors who issue medical leave without a real reason. Among the proposals discussed are measures that could lead to the loss of the right to practice freely for these doctors. The president of CNAS emphasized that the purpose of these measures is to discourage inappropriate behaviors and to ensure a more efficient health system. The authorities hope that through these penalties they will reduce abuses and protect the resources of the health system.
