He explained that, following the fiscal-budgetary measures adopted this autumn, the National Health Insurance Fund avoided a major crisis that would have led to the inability to pay for medications and hospital services. Moldovan mentioned that the budget increased from 75 billion to 80 billion lei, but the additional amount needed must come from the state budget. He also emphasized that the adopted measures, although unpopular, had beneficial effects, and in the future, CNAS hopes to no longer depend on salary influences from the state budget, promising efficient management of the funds.
