CJ Buzău has requested the suspension of the contract for the purchase of 61 electric minibuses, worth 61 million lei, carried out through the PNRR. The new source of European funding, the South-East Regional Program, could cover the county's contribution. The project aims to equip schools in 61 municipalities, mostly in disadvantaged areas. The contract is ongoing, with no minibuses received or payments made. The tender was contested but the bidder won in court. The price of an electric minibus is around 1 million lei including VAT.
