The Mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, presented on Facebook three cases in which the courts have influenced administrative decisions in Bucharest. In the first case, the Tribunal suspended the approval for the arrangement of a public parking lot on Calea Griviței, favoring a private company that operated without permits.

In the second case, the Ilfov Tribunal decided that buses from outside Bucharest can circulate into the city center, contrary to the STB cost optimization plans, which would have saved over 20 million lei annually. In the last case, a decision to restructure the municipalities was suspended by the court, leaving the municipality unorganized and blocking positions. Ciucu emphasizes the absurdity of the situation, suggesting that the courts have taken over the administrative role of the municipalities, calling into question the utility of local elections.
