The dry vegetation and forest fire in Chilia Veche, Tulcea county, has reignited due to unfavorable weather conditions and extremely dry vegetation. ISU Delta requested air support, mobilizing a helicopter with Bambi Bucket system to assess the situation and extinguish the fire. A Black Hawk helicopter from Bucharest is also on standby. Firefighters, together with representatives from the Forestry Office, are coordinating the extinguishing actions. The fire previously affected 1,000 hectares.
