CFR SA has issued a directive temporarily suspending the application of certain measures against CFR Călători and Transferoviar, which have accumulated debts of 41.41 million lei and approximately 7 million lei, respectively. Although discussions are ongoing about solutions for debt restructuring, CFR Călători has announced that it cannot meet the due date, citing delays in the collection of funds from the Railway Reform Authority. Discussions to find a solution continue, but the risk of train suspensions remains, affecting both operators and passengers.
