The management of CFR SA has decided to implement a four-day working week for 1,431 employees in low-traffic sections, starting August 4. This measure will lead to a 20% pay cut, affecting the average monthly income of employees. The company estimates savings of 3.25 million lei per month, in the context of the drop in rail traffic receipts. The proposal is under discussion with unions and could be subject to changes.
