The National Railway Company CFR SA has announced special measures in the context of weather forecasts predicting extreme temperatures, reducing the speed of trains in areas where the temperature of the tracks reaches or exceeds 50 degrees Celsius. CFR staff are constantly monitoring the condition of the rail infrastructure to intervene quickly if necessary. Travelers are advised to check the running of trains as disruptions may occur due to the heatwave.
