With offices on two continents and over 20,000 employees, the company trades electricity, natural gas, and green certificates, connecting various players in the wholesale energy markets. Centrica is also one of the largest managers of renewable assets in Europe, with a contractual capacity of over 16.5 GW, of which more than 85% are renewable assets. In the previous year, the company reported revenues of nearly £20 billion.
