CCR judges have ruled that President Nicușor Dan's objections to the new law against anti-Semitism are unfounded. Dan challenged the unclear terms in the law, such as "legionary" and "fascist", arguing that they could lead to abusive interpretations. The CCR had its first meeting with the new president, Simina Tanasescu, and the new constitutional judges. The president stressed the need for a clear law to prevent abuses and condemned xenophobic and anti-Semitic manifestations.
