The National Trade Union Confederation Cartel Alfa has protested against the government's plan to cut salary bonuses by ordinance, highlighting the absence of public consultations required by law. The union accuses the government of shifting the burden of budget adjustments onto public sector employees, while finding resources for deputy prime ministers' expenses. Cartel Alfa warns that the cut in bonuses ignores working conditions and the legality of the process, calling for the National Tripartite Council for Social Dialogue to be convened.
