USR Deputy Radu Miruţă has initiated a bill that allows citizens to register cars completely online, without having to go to the counter to obtain login details for the electronic platform. The project was adopted by the plenary of the Chamber of Deputies, which acted as the decision-making body.

Although vehicle registration was partially digitized in 2024, citizens were required to make trips to the counter to access the platform. After the law is enacted, the General Directorate of Driving Licenses will be responsible for creating user accounts and providing online access data.
