The lawyer of Călin Georgescu, after the referral to trial of the former presidential candidate: "A mock indictment, it will be annulled by Justice"

Călin Georgescu, former presidential candidate, has been sent to trial for complicity in an attempted coup. His lawyer, Lucian Catrinoiu, described the indictment as a "sham" and stated that the courts will demonstrate the lack of merit of the accusations. In the same case, Horațiu Potra and others are accused of organizing violent actions.
