The Deputy Mayor Ionuț Apostu explained that the decision was influenced by the presence of deer in Crâng, which have become accustomed to people and could suffer due to the stress caused by the noise of fireworks. This change aligns with the trends adopted by other cities in Romania, such as Cluj-Napoca, Brașov, Iași, Constanța, and Galați, which have implemented similar measures in response to pressure from animal protection organizations. The light show will be carried out by a specialized company, and the costs will fit within the initial budget allocated for fireworks.
