The 'Bucharest City Tour' project will allow the establishment of a tourist public transportation line, with the aim of connecting tourists to the main cultural sights of the capital. The Bucharest - Ilfov Intercommunal Development Association for Public Transport will issue licenses for STB-owned double-decker buses. The proposed route includes emblematic places such as Unirii Square and the Triumphal Arch. Although STB purchased six buses in 2022, they have had breakdowns and have not been running on the tourist route due to bureaucratic problems.
