The investments will include the purchase of 63 36-meter trams and 100 18-meter articulated trolleybuses, the extension of the tram network on Prelungirea Ghencea and the rehabilitation of 50 km of tram lines. The projects, funded by the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Program 2021-2027, aim to improve infrastructure and connectivity between neighborhoods in order to provide faster and more comfortable public transport.
