The Action Plan for a Green City (PAOV) aims to improve air quality and sustainable development of the Capital by 2040, including measures such as the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) and zero-emission public transportation. The projects will be implemented in phases, with the majority of financing from EU funds. The PAOV is aligned with other urban development strategies and will address pollution and traffic problems in Bucharest, with the aim of protecting citizens' health.
