Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan reacted to the accusations of the mayor of Craiova, Lia Olguța Vasilescu, who accused him of leaving the city without heating. Bolojan stated that 168 million euros were allocated for heating, but no work was done. He emphasized that he is not responsible for the management of the thermal power plant and that, if the projects had been managed correctly, Craiova would not have reached this situation.
Bolojan insisted that the solutions do not lie in finding a culprit, but in implementing a serious project, with fair tenders and government support. In response, MEP Claudiu Manda criticized the governing coalition, suggesting that Bolojan does not respect the government program. The mayor of Oradea, Florin Birta, compared the management of heating in the two cities, highlighting the differences in results.
