The TAROM Board of Directors has decided to appoint Bogdan Costaș as interim general director, starting January 15, coinciding with the end of Costin Iordache's mandate. The company emphasized that all management decisions will be ensured by the management team, in accordance with the policy adopted by TAROM and the Ministry of Transport. In 2026, TAROM will update the business plan, taking into account market trends and the restructuring plan, which must be completed by December 30. The main objective of the management is to revitalize the company to become profitable and sustainable. Bogdan Costaș has 20 years of experience in management in the aviation field, holding degrees in Management, Legal Sciences, and Marketing, and also possesses a helicopter pilot license.
