The macabre discovery was made during the foreclosure of a 70-year-old man's apartment, which had accumulated huge maintenance debts. Neighbors noticed he hadn't been seen for a long time, and authorities entered the apartment to sell it. His body, which was in an advanced state of mummification, was found by the executor. The authorities have opened a criminal file for manslaughter and are awaiting the results of an autopsy to establish the circumstances of the death.
