An aviation accident occurred in the Băcani area, Vaslui, where an ultralight aircraft crashed, and the pilot was found dead.

On Thursday, the intervention forces from Vaslui were alerted regarding a possible aircraft accident in the Băcani area. The company owning the ultralight aircraft reported that the pilot could not land due to fog and that contact was lost with him. At the scene, firefighters discovered the crashed plane and the deceased pilot. The Bârlad detachment responded quickly, sending several intervention teams and representatives of the competent institutions to assess the situation. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
