Radu Neag, a member of the AUR Party from Huedin, is accused of smuggling cigarettes, being suspected of having possessed, stored, and sold smuggled cigarettes in the town and surrounding areas. Investigators claim that he transported and distributed the illegal goods as a driver. Following a search conducted at his home, nearly 60,000 cigarettes of various brands, prepared for sale, were confiscated.

The collected evidence includes witness statements, intercepted conversations, and financial documents. Radu Neag is being investigated for smuggling and, if found guilty, faces a sentence of up to 7 years in prison. The investigation continues to determine how the cigarettes were introduced into the country.
