Sector 4 of Bucharest introduces a special urban development tax for owners of cars without parking space.

The tax will apply from January 1, 2025, for a period of 10 years, to all individuals or legal entities who own a motor vehicle in Sector 4 and have no parking space. The revenue collected will be used for urban development projects, such as the development of parking areas and modernization of road infrastructure. Vehicle owners will have to pay the annual fee by March 31.
