This price adjustment comes in response to the increase in the standard VAT rate in Romania from 19% to 21% and the increase in the reduced VAT rate for publications from 5% to 11%. The impact of the increase will affect both apps and integrated purchases such as subscriptions. Romanian users will thus experience higher costs for digital content. This decision also applies to other countries such as Brazil, Estonia, Canada, the Philippines and Vietnam.
