The Apa Nova company rejected the accusations of lawyer Gheorghe Piperea on the legality of rainwater billing, emphasizing that all tariffs are in compliance with the law and the concession contract with Bucharest City Hall. Rainwater billing is an integral part of the sewerage service, regulated by law. The current tariffs are among the lowest in the country, including investments of €748 million in infrastructure, realized without public funds. Tariff adjustments are transparent and in line with the regulations in force.
