The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a warning regarding severe cold weather, ice, and blizzard-like snowfall, valid across the country until Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Between Saturday and Wednesday, several regions will face low temperatures, wind, and precipitation.

The weather will be particularly cold, especially in the extra-Carpathian regions, with frost in the morning and at night in Moldova, Dobrogea, eastern Transylvania, Muntenia, and isolated areas in Oltenia. Minimum temperatures will range between -20 and -10 degrees, while maximums will be between -16 and -8 degrees. There will be light precipitation, predominantly in the form of snow, and the wind will intensify the feeling of cold. Additionally, between January 31 and February 1, Moldova will experience temperatures 7-9 degrees lower than normal, with minimums between -14 and -10 degrees.
