The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued Red, Orange, and Yellow heat warnings for most areas of the country, valid from June 28, 10:00 AM to June 29, 10:00 AM.
In the counties of Arad, Bihor, Satu Mare, Sălaj, Cluj, Alba, Hunedoara, Maramureș, Bistrița-Năsăud, Mureș, Sibiu, Harghita, Covasna, Brașov, Suceava, and Botoșani, extreme maximum temperatures will be recorded, between 35 and 40 degrees, with significant thermal discomfort. The temperature-humidity index (THI) will exceed 80 units.
There will also be an Orange Code in Banat, Oltenia, Muntenia, and Moldova, with temperatures between 34 and 38 degrees.
In Dobrogea and the southeast of Muntenia, a Yellow Code will be applied, with maximums of 30-34 degrees.
The night will be tropical, with minimums between 17 and 25 degrees.
