Frédéric Péchier, an anesthetist at two clinics in Besançon, is accused of causing cardiac arrests in patients by manipulating anesthetic substances between 2008 and 2017. The case, considered unprecedented in France, involves 30 victims, including a 4-year-old child and an 89-year-old patient. Although the doctor denies the accusations, claiming that the errors of colleagues are to blame, the trial will bring together over 150 civil parties and will take place until December.
