The National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) emphasizes the importance of checking roaming tariffs for destinations outside the European Economic Area (EEA), where costs are not regulated. Within the EEA, users benefit from similar tariffs to those at home, but outside the EEA, tariffs can vary and can include expensive packages. ANCOM recommends consulting information from service providers and activating the appropriate roaming options to avoid extra costs. Users are advised to turn roaming off if they do not wish to use it.
