The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) has announced that all state companies with unpaid debts until September 30, 2025, must settle their tax obligations, totaling 9.42 billion lei. In November 2025, ANAF will send official notifications to these companies to inform them about their arrears, guide them towards compliance, and present the available tax facilities.

Companies can request the installment payment of debts according to the legislation in force. ANAF warns that failure to settle tax obligations by the end of November 2025 will lead to the initiation of legal measures for debt recovery, including forced execution.
