ANAF intervened to take over a property on Nicolae Bălescu Street, but Klaus Iohannis refused to hand it over, claiming that he does not have the key. Inspectors forced the door and found the key inside, noting the degradation of the dwelling. Iohannis owes the state 4.7 million lei in unpaid rent for 17 years. Additionally, he is facing issues related to another property, and currently does not own any valuable assets.
