The National Authority for Fiscal Administration announced positive results following the prevention campaign conducted between June and December 2025, during which many event companies voluntarily complied, correctly declaring their income and tax obligations. The amounts reported to the state budget have increased significantly, with a profit and income tax growth of over 19% and VAT by 20.32% compared to the previous year. However, analyses highlighted discrepancies between estimated financial flows and declared income, suggesting a low level of compliance in some cases.

ANAF will continue inspections starting November 10, targeting over 80 taxpayers who have not complied. The checks will focus on the issuance of supporting documents and the compliance with tax obligations of the staff. ANAF ensures that these actions will not affect the conduct of events and warns that non-compliant companies will face tax consequences. Compliant taxpayers will benefit from fair tax treatment.
