ANAF extends controls over Realitatea Plus TV and associated companies

ANAF has announced that it has extended tax audits on the group of companies in the TV media sector, especially on Realitatea Plus TV, requesting information from over 300 foreign companies that have conducted business relations with this group.

The investigation began after ANAF discovered irregularities at a number of companies, including Realitatea Plus, which is part of a group with debts of 259 million lei to the state. Additionally, the Tax Authority identified collections for electoral promotion without corresponding payments.

ANAF has requested documents such as contracts, services rendered, and payment flows, emphasizing the importance of cooperation from the audited companies. The media group's refusal to present the requested documents could lead to seizure actions.

ANAF reminds that tax data is constantly analyzed through the RO e-Invoice platform, and non-compliance in providing information may lead to the extension of tax audits.
