ANAF sells Elena Udrea's assets to recover 9 million lei in damages after her 6-year prison sentence

The National Agency for Tax Administration (ANAF) is trying to recover 9 million lei from Elena Udrea, sentenced to 6 years in prison. ANAF has put up for auction a 5,000 square meter plot of land in Sector 1 of the capital with a starting price of 4.75 million lei. Also available are 40 hectares of agricultural land in Călărași county, for which ANAF is asking 1.9 million lei. If no bids are received, prices will gradually decrease. Elena Udrea could be released soon, depending on the court's decision.
